Galen is playing Pele, a series regular in Eighty-12, an upcoming drama following eleven high-schoolers and their teacher in the days leading up to a school shooting. Eighty-12 is created and directed by Louis Rocky Bacigalupo and produced by Emily Tomasello.
Galen just wrapped the feature film Vignettes, directed by Joseph Latimore. Vignettes is a multi-narrative film with an ensemble cast set in New York City. It will premiere at film festivals early 2020.
Galen most recently played Garrett Wright in Lenore Skomal's The Exes. The new comedy ran Off-Broadway at Theatre Row from August 10th to October 5th.
THE COMEDIAN'S TRAGEDY
Galen was seen as the Messenger in The Comedian's Tragedy. The new play, written by Matthew Amendt and directed by Bill McCallum, ran with multiple sold-out shows at the Access Theater in NYC.
"Galen Molk as Messenger is also an actor to watch. Every time he said anything he left the audience in stitches … and he plays the flute. He’s a natural comedian, and once the right role turns up, we’ll hear from him again. Welcome to NYC, Mr. Molk. Keep up the good work."
Jan Ewing - Hi! Drama
Galen made his Off-Broadway debut at Theatre for a New Audience in the spring of 2019. He played Cinna the Poet in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, directed by Shana Cooper.
